Junior Package
Dr. Tran will have students focus on a Start-to-Finish Plan. Dr. Tran wants to see great students succeed and works to create a comprehensive plan that incorporates all the building blocks for a successful admissions process. The Junior Package forms the foundation for the Senior Package, which benefits greatly from planning ahead.
SAT/ACT Prep
As part of DTCC, we have our own comprehensive SAT/ ACT prep course that students will be given full access to in order to perform well on these exams.
Academic planning
Top Universities look for students who’ve shown high achievement in difficult courses. Planning a schedule to show academic rigor and balancing interests is a crucial step.
Leadership Experience
Beyond GPA, schools look at students who show leadership. We help students plan for the right kind of activities to help impress an admissions team while aligning with the student’s interest.
Resume Creation
We help students craft a resume that will share each student’s unique story and highlight their strengths.
Senior Package
Dr. Tran will have students focus on a Start-to-Finish Plan. Dr. Tran will help students build a year-long plan to follow and a way to keep track of every application and all the elements within. This includes a year-long timeline to help keep students on track with each element of every respective application.
School Selection
Deciding which schools are the best fit based on many factors can be difficult. We help students examine their own interests to create a list of best matched schools to apply to.
Personal Statements
We help students with the creation of their personal statements, including finding the right topics, drafting and editing. We take great pride in helping students identify the right topics to write on so that the admissions committee sees each student as the great candidate they are.
We also help with letters of recommendation, auditions and portfolios, interviews, merit awards and scholarship negotiations, appeals for rejections, general advice .
Financial Aid Package
This package is included with any of our packages mentioned above. We've partnered with Alex Tran for the past five years to help families save the most they can when applying to colleges. Alex is highly experienced with FAFSA, financial aid, and scholarships, and is passionate about helping students and parents save the most they can, so affording the college of their dreams is as stress free as possible.
Alex is currently on track to saving our students a combined average of $1.4 million over the next four years of their college careers, breaking down to roughly $112,000 per year per student.
